How does intention interlace the fabric of a desire?

We may ask ourselves, what role does an intention play in translating desire into the physical world? We often get lost in romanticizing the idea of something we do not have. We carry a wish, an aspiration, a desire. Our wishing for something nevertheless suggests we have yet to achieve to materialize it.

The distance between a desire and an intention is, in principle, similar to the distance between a dream and a goal. It essentially equals the strength of energy projected forward. They both share the same direction but differ in the degree of energy. The stronger the energy of the momentum, the shorter the distance is. Likewise, when no energy is exerted, desire only stagnates as that of an empty dream. Desire can still exist independently, and so can a dream. However, an intention, just as the premise of a goal, requires observation moving forward for "the observer effect" to take place. For change to occur, for desire to objectify, for a dream to materialize, a focus must be applied in order for the wave to collapse into a particle, as quantum physics calls for such.

While thoughts and feelings of a desire are a fundamental part of creation, desire is something that is naturally there. It forms organically within us and is something, on the contrary, we need not expand, accelerate, or work hard for. At times, when we desire something that is considered "big" in this world, we feel as if we must somehow earn our place under the sun. We must work hard, muscle through with actions, and make it happen. This may seem overwhelming, and we, at times, give up before we even get to form an intention. Creating a solid intention of unwavering firmness, however, allows us to create movement towards our desired outcome. It is by far the single most important step in creation. Desire without intention is like releasing a balloon into the sky. It is beautiful.. but certainly brief and fleeting. Chances are we will never get to see it again.

Intention differs.

Intention, however, takes some focus. With aim, we need to cultivate our thoughts and direct our actions forward with purpose. Nevertheless, when we aspire to or long for something, we signal to the Universe that there is something we do not have. This is certainly part of creation and the formation of something new into an existence. It is part of the process. However, this is the part where we often stumble and our balloon simply flies out of our hands. Intention is to be focused, but likewise held loosely. When we grasp tighthly through an attachment, we introduce lack into the equation and therefore regress momentum. It leaves us watching our desire fleeting further away from us, unable to simply wish it into existence. Wishing more does not equal receiving more and/or faster. Conversely, it is further to be guaranteed.

It is often mistaken that if we increase our desire, the desire will somehow reach us faster. To the contrary, the more we wish for something, the more we increase our resistance to it. When we want something "really badly," our output energetically signals a lack into the Universe, and we introduce a sense of neediness into the equation. Our mindset is that of scarcity as opposed to abundance. Conversely, this produces results in the opposite direction and further away from our desire.

Intention is an affair of a proceeding thought that envelops a desire with firmness.

It is the intangible action of certitude in our choice that allows desire to transcend into the objective world. It is what creates momentum that ascends our desire past that of a daydream.

Of course, action that is aligned with our desire is of the essence, but without an intention, we would not be able to recognize the guidance that may be bestowed upon us otherwise. Clear intention followed by action is what allows us to gain momentum and our desire to objectify. We may experience a desire arising within our mind and state an intention, yet still have absolutely zero idea as to how to get "there". This is completely normal and a necessary part of the process. While it may seem ambiguous at first, it is the very fork on our path that leads us to the most crucial part of creation. Passing through the unknown. It is the blind spot that often becomes a dead end for many. It can crystallize, however, if we remain consistent on our journey. This is where many give up as doubt seeps in. The fear of the unknown. The fear of not being able to see light in the dark. But this is precisely where we need to travel. It is where we must give ourselves the permission to take the leap. The same trust a fledgling has when jumping out of the nest for the first time.

Throughout ourlivese we have created a landscape of boundaries. Boundaries within which we feel safe, for we know what lies within them. Naturally, the distance of their borders closely corresponds to the limitation of our beliefs. We fear crossing these boundaries because it presents a risk and certainly a discomfort of the unknown. This is simply because we have never crossed them before and do not know what is beyond them. Attempting to cross them, however, is precisely where we may expand. This is where we find the light at the end of the tunnel. This is where growth takes place. It is the place of an unseen bridge we must believe exists, for we can get from one side of the river to the other. The other side of the bridge is the gem of our desire in flesh.

One step at a time..

We must not get discouraged, but firmly hold on to the fact that we do not need to know the "how". We need to direct our focus and hold our intention steadily. Allow ourselves to take things step by step; nevertheless, with the precision of unwavering consistency. When we follow each next logical step, no matter how small it seems, the path will naturally present itself to us. The clarity will unfold gradually, like a fog in front of us, with each step.

Our mind is designed to grow and expand, while growth itself takes place through action that follows a true desire. To wish is a beautiful feeling, but a desire without belief or momentum is an empty quest. We must provoke our senses through inquisition and learning to further our impulse of yearning. We must follow with an unwavering faith and subsequently align our steps to translate such desire into a reality.

In Conclusion..

When we intend with a purpose and deliberately focus on an aim in sight, we receive a burst of energy that propels our intent forward. Thoughts in the direction of the future carry the momentum of creation into the physical world. We consciously engage in deliberate creation as our ideas turn into actions, beliefs into expectations, and thoughts into matter. ~Vendula Kalinova
